Well comrades,
A week later than I originally intended, here's the update:
I kind of underestimated the last panel a bit, but I'm pretty
happy with the result.
On to other things: you're probably familiar with 'Vocaloid': a voice
synthesis program of sorts. Though I'm always a bit sceptical about how
useful these programs are for emulating singers, the results are actually
pretty good for Japanese, as this song,
'Love is war', illustrates (the 3d animation is also pretty awesome, actually).
I've become a quite a bit intrigued with these Vocaloid's. It's interesting
to see how each vocaloid version seems to have an entire following, with
people creating fanart and the like. It's also funny to see how Vocaloid's
markteting is completely different for western countries: it has none of the
personalities we see in japan. Then again, it's not as widely distributed
here as it is over there.
Alright, enough about that. Enjoy the comic.

Ah yes dear comrades,
I am finally updating again. 2008 was a year of non-updates. Well, at least it didn't show any story progress.
But I'm back in business. As far as I've planned it all thusfar, I should be able to update every Monday. Because hey: Monday isn't part of the productive workweek anyway.
I've been thinking lately about shirts. Of course, I regularly think about this. Pretty much every day when I decide what to wear, actually, but I'm talking about Vreakerz T-shirts this time. I'm pondering what would be neat to put on them.
So, I guess my question to you all is: what would you like to see on a Vreakerz shirt? Because I'm pretty much at a loss as to what'd be nice?
Oh, and you might have noticed a small change in my art. It's not a style change, but a format change: I used to work on A4 format paper, which made it quite a pain to do all the details (ink is not very forgiving in that respect).
I recently acquired an A3 format scanner (thanks dad!), making it possible for me to work on A3 format paper without needing to painstakingly scan it in afterwards in two parts and then try to align the bloody things right.
Really, it's an awesome difference: I'm able to go into more details more easily, and drawing the lines has become far easier. The only thing I don't like is that I now need to get out of my chair to look at my work from a distance to make sure the compositions right. But overall, I'd say its a big improvement.
