The festival arc was originally something of an intermezzo in the main storyline, which I must confess wasn't very well thought out at the time. The lowlands festival is actually a festival held in the Netherlands which I have attended a couple of times, so the arc was one of those typical semi-autobiographic kind of things. But in the name of trying to write a consistent story, I removed this chapter from the normal archives.

A band I liked at the time was Dreadlock Pussy (broke up in 2006). I saw them playing at Lowlands once: I remember vividly how an overweight man tripped and crushed me at that concert. Ah... good times. Anyway, I used the lyrics from one of their songs in this comic.
