Since I am about as thrilled about having to sift through large amounts of lengthy e-mail as I am of having canker sores, I found this rather interesting:
(BBC) Email is ruining my life
This article was particularly interesting too:
E-mail: a square peg in a round hole
But most amusing was this computer scientists solution to the problem.

Dear comrades,
It's come to my attention that quite a few of you are beginning to wonder if Vreakerz is dead, which isn't all that strange, considering the incredibly long period of non-updates as far as the current storyline goes. I've tried explaining myself a few times before, but clearly, I have been too vague. Therefore, I will lay out my plans for the coming time for you all in the hope that it will become clear why my update schedule is almost non-existent at this time.
First of all, I have quite some responsibilities at the moment. I'm a master student at the University of Utrecht, which requires us to spend 40 hours a week on our studies. This, of course is a minimum. Secondly, I work as a graphic designer in my free time, which means I have to produce quality work for my customers, which takes time.
Now, Vreakerz is a full-page, coloured comic. So a page with considerable detail, as I tend to make them, will take an average of 8 to 10 hours to produce. I need to redo my old work, so I prefer to put my time into that right now instead of new comics.
This is not because I am bored with drawing the comic, on the contrary: Drawing a continuing story is one of the most invigorating things I can do as an author. Bringing a few characters to life gives me much more pleasure than drawing random pictures, which is why my deviantart page is relatively empty. At the risk of sounding arrogant: I hugely enjoy creating the Vreakerz setting, because I think its a wonderfully interesting world. I mean, it's my world, how can I not like it?
It's also not because I don't know where I'm going with the story. I always plan my stories rather far ahead. For instance: the current story arc is largly Karmal centered. Needless to say, There will also be something which can be described as a Nastasia and a Scare arc. This current arc still has some chapters to go before it even ends, and for the other characters, the stories will be of similar length. These stories themselves revolve around the main story, which still hasn't become totally clear in the comic yet.
No, the reason I'm doing this is, unfortunately but logically, for a more commercial purpose. I'm not as fortunate as Fred Gallagher of Megatokyo, whose work was fairly good even in the beginning of his story. Currently, I have work varying immensely in quality. It is not something you can expect to be able to put in a book. Well, okay, technically you can put it in a book, but that would be plain ridiculous. That won't sell. And yes, selling a book does matter to me. If I'm able to sell such a book and make a decent amount of money from it, it means I can invest time in producing more of this, instead of spending that time on graphic design. Right now, I put time, effort and money into Vreakerz. I would like to only put time and effort in it.
So, in conclusion: no, Vreakerz isn't dead. It's just really heavily sedated, shackled to a solid granite wall with a lullaby continuously running. A sort of semi-hiatus.
From now until the end of this school year around the beginning of July, I will be busy with my studies. After this, I will have 2 months to put considerable time into my projects, including Vreakerz. After this period, I'll be working on an Experimentation project for about 2 or 3 months. Then, I'll be working on my Thesis for three quarters of a year min. which should also give me more time to do other things.
Well, that's about it. That's what you can expect.

Well, well, well, if it isn't a revision update.
Oh, first of all, happy new year everyone! I know it's already almost the third of the new year, but still. This revision is completely without text. Well, except for the 'ding ding ding' part, that is. You know, I really do enjoy drawing a lot of backgrounds but bloody hell it takes a long time to do it... I really can't wait until I get to the four-panel stuff. That should be a lot easier to do.
As you may have noticed, my uploading schedule leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm afraid it'll stay this way for at least half a year still. Don't worry, I'm certainly not giving up on Vreakerz (if I were, I wouldn't be doing these revisions), it's just that there's a lot I need to do at the moment, such as taking courses at the University and doing a variety of graphic design projects.
So, as I usually do in these situations, I present you with some interesting links that you might like:
Exiern by Drowemos (now drawn by Studio Boom) is a story about a barbarian lad, that gets turned into a lass by his sworn enemy, who just happens to be a bit of a sarcastic figure. The comic suffers from the same disease as Vreakerz (horribly drawn in the beginning), but if you can get past that, it's very funny, and very well drawn.
Tales of MU by Alexandra Erin tells the story of Mackenzie, a more-than-human girl who just started living in Harlowe Hall at Magisterius University. Along the way, she learns a lot about life, tolerance and, as is to be expected from college stories: sex. Mind you, the story can get somewhat... 'open-minded', so I advice nuns and anyone under 18 to read something else. (not that I have any way of stopping you from reading it regardless)
I still think this youtube video is funny. As are this one and this one
