 Right... welcome to the obligatory 'about me' section of the website. Now I will try to amuse you with pointless little facts about my life. Here goes...
I was born in 1982, in the city of
's-Hertogenbosch, in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
I've always been fond of drawing comics: I believe I started drawing plotless little comics when I was 8 or so. I did this for a while, had a period of being obsessed with dinosaurs and stopped drawing altogether for a long time.
Then came 'the Lion King', which I saw in the theatre and it left me in complete and utter awe. I liked the film so much (like countless others) that I wanted to draw TLK characters myself. So I did. A little internet search later and I found 'lionking.org', a site that dedicated itself to... well... the lion king. They had a fanart gallery, so I applied and started posting.
This went on for a while until I followed a fellow upstart artist to an online art-site called 'the Vixen controlled library' or 'VCL', which at that time wasn't nearly as filled with pornographic material and paint doodles as it is now. Naturally, I also applied there and started drawing what some people seemed to call 'furries' or 'anthros'.
It's pretty much at the VCL that I designed Scare, Nastasia and Karmal. After a while, I thought it would be fun to do a little comic with Scare and Karmal. (Nastasia wasn't really that well thought out yet) I started thinking about a name, and decided on 'Vreakerz'. As to how I got to this name, I don't really care to explain.
I made some more comics and thought to myself: "hey, this would be nice as a series". I introduced Nastasia and it all pretty much snowballed after that.
Vreakerz, to me, is an experiment gone haywire. It went from a poorly drawn 'gag-comic' to more of a graphic novel. I love making it, and will probably continue to do so for years to come.
